Annual Service:

Ensuring that a complex piece of equipment, such as a computer, runs smoothly is an important part of protecting the significant investment made during the original purchase.  To help you achieve this we have put together a range of support packages which will help keep your systems available and trouble free.

Annual Service:

This service is designed to review the performance and operation of the customers computer system installation.  After consultation with the user a number of performance tests will be made, these will include the performance of data retrieval, the loading of applications, the transfer of data to and from the internet and, were applicable, between client systems. 

  • Individual Computers:

It is anticipated that each review will take approximately one hour. Each system will be reviewed to ensure that the latest versions of the operating system are installed. That the major applications will also be validated against the latest internet available updates.

In addition the following checks will be undertaken:

  • Up to date virus software is maintained 
  • Spyware and other malware are eliminated from the system
Configuration:

Detailed records of the client's configuration will be taken and held to assist in future support.

  • Support:

The client will be able to request remote access support The user will be able to request remote access support to identify and resolve problems, or to receive guidance in the operation of particular applications. Applications which will be supported in this way include:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express
  • Microsoft Publisher

On site support is available next day if a call is requested before 15:00. Best efforts will made to provide next day on-site support after that time.

Same day on site call-out is available for an additional monthly fee.

  • Capabilities:

We are Microsoft Certified supporting a wide range of applications and users. We are also CompTIA Security professionals.

  • Payment:

The client can choose to pay via a monthly fee (payable by standing order) plus time and materials based on our published price list, or via a monthly fee plus materials. The service contract is payable by monthly or annual (equivalent to 10 months) standing order.

* In order for the remote backup service to operate it is necessary for a connection to the internet to be available.  This may be broadband, cable, satellite or dial-up.

** Each Gold level support package will be individually tailored to meet the needs of the client.  Often client's will require specific requirements and therefore what is described is a 'standard' offering.
